Suddenly an earthquake shakes cebu city and my parents escape me to the open ground of the hospital for safety. Mama who is obviously weak take a deep breath and thanks the lord for keeping us alive. That time seconds matters a lot.
THE PROCLAMATION OF MATIAL LAW .. Don’t really know what is martial law that time and don’t really feel how it affects Filipino . It only happens the same year of my birth.
CHRISTENING , Domark or Domarc is a combination of two catholic name, Domingo and Marcos. My cousin “Landat “named me Domarch a prince of Austria in the Old times. At the Parish Church of the Lady of the rule commonly called “Birhen Sa Regla” I was baptized with holy water.

INNOCENCE DAYS ,Mama shouts with fear!!! I’m at the center of the street facing a well off lady in her car, beeping me so that I would get off the street for safety.
FUN ON EARLY DAYS ,we love bahaybahayan,spider search, tagoan, heeding radio dramas like”diego Salvador, Imok ug ang Gamhanang Sungkod, Michael and Handumanan sa usa ka awit.no tv’s, no computer, no fluorescent lights, dusty white streets along hiways. we love swimming, i remember only Hadsan beach Resort that time.
Today beach resorts and hotels occupy the seashore as tourism boom in our place. Today from North to West we have, Hilton Twin Tower, Shagrilla,Tambuli, Cebu Beach Club,Costabella, Blue Water, Buyong Beach , White Sands, EGI City by the sea , Kontiki, Hadsan, Coral reef and Plantation Bay and many more. The Site are all great works of the hands of architects and Engineers.
MY LOLO ABANDONED SARI SARI STORE, AND MY FIRST SKETCH, vividly I could still remember my first sketch on the walls of my lolo’s(Grandpa) old store together with my
brods and cousins. it was a smiling baby boy, a portrait of myself.
PAPA GARIO TEACH ME GRAPHING TO PERFECTLY COPY A PORTRAIT TO A LARGE SCALE , i tried a picture of a gymnast lady in side view, and perfectly trace in large scale the portrait that was then I start rendering.
THE GIFT , it was the time when my Parents discover my gift in arts. I remember I’m fond of painting the portrait of the SACRED HEART OF JESUS,Santa Claus carrying Gifts, the fields and the rising sun, the sees and the rising sun, I don’t really love painting afternoon and night views, specially the sunset. I hate that views. I like rising sun. I don’t like to paint snakes. If I paint sea views its always a calm seas. I also love to paint the portrait of President Ferdinand Marcos hanged in front of our classroom. It was the time of President Marcos regime and last for 20 years.
