Manual drafting is the conventional way of preparing working drawings and presentation up to the present, but so rare this days. But manual drafting is still useful in some other way.

Autocad 12 up to 2007 version and next this is a computer aided design software, a more precise than manual drafting, fast editing, internet connections etc. It is even use in driving machines in fabrications of different designs for mass production.

You can send auto cad files thru e-maill. Sender must have his own email address and autocad installed in his computer and the receiver must have his own email address and likewise autocad must also be installed in his computer. Otherwise you cannot send anything.

يمكنك إرسال ملفات السيارات نذل عبر البريد maill. المرسل يجب أن يكون له عنوان البريد الالكتروني الخاص وأوتوكاد تركيبها في جهاز الكمبيوتر الخاص به والمتلقي يجب أن يكون له عنوان البريد الالكتروني الخاص وبالمثل أوتوكاد يجب أيضا أن يتم تركيبها في جهاز الكمبيوتر الخاص به. وإلا لا يمكنك إرسال أي شيء.

Take note: in sending auto cad files to other computer, ask first if you have the same installed version. For example, you send a 20007 file he must have also have 20007 version. If you send 20007 file to a 2000 version you can never open the file. Its a waste of time and sometimes if one don’t understand this, he may think he is fooled by the sender. But if you send 2000 to 2007 version you can open the file in you computer. In short the higher version accepts all lower versions. The lower version can never and will never open a higher version file. I wrote this because there a lot of incidents like this. Sometimes the other party if cannot open the file they thought the other party don’t want to share his file. It creates misunderstanding if both dont know this fact.

AN ARCHITECT is a person who have undergone a five year course in the study of Bachelor of Science in architecture and pass the architect board license examination. An architect with his/her associates shall interpret the clients needs into drawings and shall be built with clients approved design and specifications. The Architect shall be paid 10 percent of the total cost of the building or as per approved contract.

HISTORY OF ARCHITECTURE based on the the record of man begun in the prehistoric megaliths to modernist skyscrapers. Please take note that architecture is a fluid art. Architectural styles do not start and stop at definite period of time. Did you notice Roman buildings has large and plenty of columns? Normally because post tensioning is not available that time. Glass and light steel materials are commonly used in skyscrapers in the modern times because of the new discovery and availability of new materials. THE EVOLUTION OF ARCHITECTURE basically evolves with the rapid growth of human population and the need of man to build for a specific purpose or function. It also evolves with the availability of new materials found to be more economical , practical and functional.

تطور العمارة أساسا تتطور مع النمو السريع للسكان البشرية ، والحاجة لرجل لبناء لغرض محدد أو وظيفة. كما أنه يتطور مع توافر المواد الجديدة وجدت لتكون أكثر اقتصادا والعملية والوظيفية.

DESIGN CONCEPTS is the Architects approach of his design. Basically the concept of design still depends on its needs and function. It is wrong to design a house as large as a mall or a hotel that as open as a gymnasium. The architects design should always meet the clients or occupants needs. In designing spaces always put yourself in the users shoes. And ask yourself am I comfortable this way? Think about it.

مفاهيم التصميم هو النهج المعماريين من تصميمه. أساسا لمفهوم التصميم لا يزال يعتمد على احتياجاتها وظيفة. فمن الخطأ أن تصميم منزل كبير مثل مركز تجاري أو فندق أن مفتوحة الى صالة للالعاب الرياضية. تصميم المهندسين المعماريين وينبغي دائما تلبية احتياجات العملاء أو ركابها. في تصميم المساحات دائما تضع نفسك في حذاء المستخدمين. وتسأل نفسك هل أنا مريحة بهذه الطريقة؟ نفكر في ذلك.

ARCHITECT’S ATTITUDE

In my practice in architecture, I have already the idea the standard dimensions of fixtures and furnitures at school. I thought thats all enough. But during my first job in my practice at Roestgen Construction. I always have this blue log book with me when I accompany Richard Stolsman, an American citizen having built his private beach resort at Cordova,Cebu. I always take note all he wants for his room. Everything must be based from his own anatomy. I notice he likes what I did. He waits for me after work and drive me home with his pajero. Later on offered me to study in the US. Unfortunately, my mother did not allow me to go. Grabbing an opportunity must be one of architects attitude. Once it comes you’ll never know if opportunity return.
